Product Description

The process of producing a galvanized steel sheet usually involves nothing more than dipping that sheet into very hot zinc. After the steel is galvanized, the zinc coating will react with oxygen in order to create zinc oxide, which further reacts with water, producing zinc hydroxide. In time, zinc hydroxide will react with carbon dioxide and form zinc carbonate, a gray layer that helps slow the reaction rate of the zinc and helps to protect the steel. The galvanizing process can also cause spangle on the surface of the steel. Spangle is the term used to describe the pattern that zinc grains can form on the surface of a galvanized steel sheet.

Application:
JIS-410s: Heat-resistant kitchen utensils, blades, bucket covers, pump parts and press plates, burner etc.

JIS-430: Electrical a ccessories, air conditioners, washing machines parts and decorative trims etc.

JIS-409L: Automotive exhaust systems, burner etc.

Advantage: Excellent combination of toughness and strength can be developed through proper heat treatment.

Kinds of Steel Sheet:

Grade 304	the most common of the three grades. It offers good corrosion resistance while maintaining formability and weldability. Available finishes are #2B, #3, and #4. Grade 303 is not available in sheet form
Grade 316	more corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures than 304. It is commonly used for pumps, valves, chemical equipment, and marine applications. Available finishes are #2B, #3, and #4.
Grade 410	heat treatable stainless steel, but it has a lower corrosion resistance than the other grades. It is commonly used in cutlery. The only available finish is dull
