Product Description

 Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is a commonly used economic method to prevent the surface of the steel sheet from corrosion and extend its service life. A layer of metal zinc is coated on the surface of the steel sheet. This zinc-coated steel sheet is called a galvanized sheet. It is an effective anti-rust method. About half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.

Due to different treatment methods in the coating process, the surface state of galvanized sheets is also different, such as ordinary zinc spangles, fine zinc spangles, flat zinc spangles, no zinc spangles, and phosphating surfaces. German standards also stipulate surface levels. Galvanized sheets should have a good appearance and should not have defects that are harmful to the use of the product, such as no plating, holes, cracks, scum, excessive plating thickness, scratches, chromic acid dirt, white rust, etc. Foreign standards are not very clear about specific appearance defects.

Hot-dip galvanizing process
    Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the steel material in molten zinc liquid so that a layer of zinc is attached to its surface. This process includes the following steps:

    Pretreatment: Clean and degrease the steel surface to ensure that the zinc layer can be firmly attached to the steel.
Dip plating: Immerse the treated steel in molten zinc liquid, and the zinc in the zinc liquid reacts with the steel to form an alloy layer.
Cooling and solidification: The workpiece after dip plating needs to be cooled and solidified to form a continuous zinc layer.
Post-treatment: Trim and inspect the galvanized workpiece to ensure that the quality meets the requirements.

Electrogalvanizing (cold galvanizing)
    The process of depositing a layer of zinc on the surface of steel through the principle of electrolysis. The specific steps are as follows:

    Electrolyte preparation: Prepare an electrolyte containing zinc ions.
Electroplating: Use steel as the cathode, and through the action of electric current, zinc ions are reduced to metallic zinc on the surface of steel to form a coating.
Post-treatment: After electroplating, clean and dry the workpiece to ensure that the coating is uniform and flawless
